CAH’s Silent Auction

We created our first online silent auction in 2019 in support of our Gilles-Barbeau Golf Tournament’s fundraising efforts. That’s why it included such great prizes for golf fans.

In 2020, we had to cancel our annual tournament! Then we thought it prudent to cancel our September 2021 tournament as well. However, we would like to bring back the idea of an online silent auction! We will be adding more details over the summer.

Below is the information we shared with participants at the time to give you an idea of what our silent auction looked like.

Our Silent Auction 2019 is now closed!

(We are keeping the following information, regarding our 2019 auction, as a reference so you can see how it looked! The auction is now closed!)

Following the Gilles-Barbeau Golf Tournament on September 14, 2019, we offered our supporters the opportunity to take advantage of one of ClubLink’s six gift certificates, generously donated by ClubLink, to experience the best golf courses in the region, including: quatuor au Lake Joseph Club (valeur de 800 $), foursome at Grandview Golf Club ($720 value), foursome at Station Creek Golf Club, ($400 value), foursome at Cherry Downs Golf Club ($320 value) and two foursome at Rolling Hills Golf Club ( $300 value each).

The amount of their bet was added to our fundraising campaign to purchase a new van for CAH customers!

To participate:
• Participants had until October 15 at 3pm to place their bet.
• To see the kind of prize we offer at our Silent Auction, please refer to the attached document of the six available certificates
• Bets were communicated to Jean Tété at jtete@caheritage.org (specifying the name of the course and the amount).
• We selected the highest bet for each lot and communicated the results to all participants.
• Good luck at our next Silent Auction in 2020!

About the Silent Auction 2019 on September 14

During the meal following the Gilles-Barbeau Golf Tournament for CAH, there was be a silent ENCAN with great prizes collected by the CAH Golf Committee.

All attendees were invited to participate in the auction by offering a minimum amount of money set in advance for the prizes of their choice. A healthy competition between participants led to an escalation of bids. We thank every participants. Fundraising goal this year: $30,000 for a new van that will ensure safe outings with our customers.
