Day Program

We offer two French-language Day Programs (SDJ), located in Toronto and Oshawa. These programs combine physical, cognitive, and social activities in a warm and safe environment, while providing essential respite for caregivers. Programming at both sites is adapted to participants’ needs, following a standardized assessment prior to admission.

Day Program

Oshawa

The Oshawa Day Program is currently the only fully French-language day program in the entire Durham region. Transportation services are available.

A complete program to move, stimulate, socialize, and eat well

What you will find in our Day Programs

Physical exercise

Improve flexibility, balance, strength, and endurance with certified facilitators from the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (Western University).

Cognitive stimulation

Participate in individual and group activities, including music therapy, art therapy, and personalized cognitive exercises based on the Montessori method and York University’s Glendon College.

Social interaction

Engage in group activities that encourage participation, connection, and social interaction among participants.

Meals and transportation

Enjoy a hot meal included, and transportation services depending on the site.
