Mr. Salim Sarwari is a new client of CAH’s Day Service (SDJ) in Oshawa. He was referred to us by his occupational therapist. Like many people, he had preconceived notions about this type of service. A pleasant surprise awaited him, including the transportation service offered for the SDJ in Oshawa.

I was hesitant at first, and I wasn’t sure how much I would like it, or what it would be like for me since I am an older man. I thought there would be little attention for me and that I would observe from a distance for a while. I wasn’t sure how engaged I would be. I also assumed that I wouldn’t be able to attend regularly due to my mobility making it difficult to get there without a car.
