Volunteer Driver

Centres d’Accueil Héritage (CAH) is seeking a volunteer driver. CAH is a non-profit organization providing affordable housing and community support services in French in Toronto to frail seniors and/or those experiencing a loss of autonomy.
The volunteer driver is responsible for safely transporting CAH clients, employees, volunteers, and other individuals who use the service. This person supports CAH’s transportation services, particularly when the full-time driver is on vacation.

Qualifications

Hold a valid Class G driver’s license
Have good knowledge of the local area
Proficiency in spoken and written French and English relevant to the position
Sensitivity to working with seniors in a culturally diverse environment
Adhere to Centres d’Accueil Héritage’s confidentiality protocols
